Trey Jones: President

Lone Star Land Design was founded on the principle of providing excellence in customer service that matches the excellence of our design/build installations. Trey Jones, the president of Lone Star Land Design began his landscape career at Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture with emphasis in horticulture and landscape construction.

Trey believes that in order to be the best, you have to strive for excellence everyday. All employees of Lone Star Land Design are held to this high standard to ensure that our customers are getting the best product and services possible. Lone Star Land Design is a member of many organizations in the green industry, including the American Society of Landscape Architects. Trey and his family live in Central Austin.

Matt Bryson: Managing Principal, Houston

As Managing Principal of the Houston branch of Lone Star Land Design, Matt is dedicated to providing the client with an innovative design and the absolute best experience in the creation of outdoor spaces. His knowledge of construction and attention to detail contribute to designing some of the most breathtaking and realistic landscapes.

Matt Bryson earned a degree in Landscape Architecture at Texas A&M University. He has worked on a wide variety of projects including the planning and design of large-scale planting plans, multi-use parks, recreation centers, and streetscapes for several master plan communities.

Matt believes great projects are built on great relationships that hinge on a collaborative effort between him and the client.

Ebbn Milks: Watershape Designer and Pool Construction Manager

Ebbn Milks is an award-winning designer and has become recognized as one of the areas premier watershape designers. Many of his projects have been featured in pool and spa publications throughout the country. He has a wealth of information in sound construction techniques; mastering lighting, drainage, substructure and elevated support systems, hydraulics, mechanical engineering, masonry and hardscape design. Ebbn focuses on quality of construction and creative and unique designs for his clientele. Ebbn has overseen and completed many pools in his career and he would love the opportunity to discuss design ideas for your future pool or water feature.

Ben Mejia: Construction Superintendent

Ben Mejia is from El Paso Texas. He is a graduate of Texas State University where he earned a degree in Business Administration. Ben began his construction career 10 years ago specializing in hardscapes and concrete construction. Ben oversees all of the construction for LSLD. He is responsible for coordinating crews, project scheduling and materials for all of our projects. Ben is extremely detail oriented and he works very close with our clients to ensure that all projects are being constructed as planned. Ben and his wife Rocio, live in Buda, TX with their 2 daughters.
